Just wanted to give a little update on the happenings in my life / art. I'm not entirely sure where to begin, so I'm just going to let my mind ramble a bit.
First off, and probably most importantly, I'd like to thank everyone who's ever purchased a print from my Etsy store. I still am in complete awe that I'm able to make a fairly consistent side source of income from simply painting what I want to paint. It means the world to me that you guys enjoy what I do enough to spend your money on it. I couldn't ever possibly thank you enough.
Also, I'm currently showing some work in a store near my house. And I haven't gotten around to checking recently, but so far, my pieces haven't sold yet. But they are all going for $700 for the originals. It's such a strange feeling knowing my work is worth that much, and that there are people who are interested in purchasing them. I hope this continues, because I'd love to start showing work in galleries. That's truly the dream I'm pushing towards.
Finally, I've been picking up more and more commissions, and it's quite nice. Currently working on a children's book, the album artwork for my friend's band, Fallacies, in the UK, and a few pieces that individual clients have hired me to work on. So on top of working my 40 hour-a-week job, I am spending a lot of time working on these paintings.
Well, that's about it. I'm sure there are more things that I could talk about, but I can't think of them right now. Hopefully this gives a little insight on what I've been up to, if you were interested in it at all.
So again, thank you so very much for the support, no matter if you're a long time supporter, or just recently stumbled across my work. Hopefully you'll stick around a bit.
